A little bit about me!

I'm Marcelo, I'm 32 years old. I was born in Campinas, São Paulo. I am the youngest of 3 children in a family that has given me roots and wings that are equally strong.

I consider myself cheerful, light, but also serious, reserved and disciplined. I do therapy regularly to reflect on how to make the various decisions in my life, considering my desires, ambitions, as well as my possibilities. I always try to be my best version, even if some days are more difficult than others.

I have a degree in psychology from USP for more than 10 years, a specialist in Professional Guidance from USP, a degree in Gestalt Therapy from Sedes Sapientiae and I am currently doing a PhD in London, England, where I live.

The central objective of my work is to promote human development so that we can get as close as possible to our authenticity, considering our limits and possibilities.

I use Gestalt-therapy and existential phenomenology as a practical-theoretical foundation for my work, as I think that turning our attention to ourselves and the here-now is an efficient therapeutic strategy for our continuous growth. Thus, we can recognize what prevents us from growing and consequently make healthier choices for us.

Throughout my career, I worked for about 10 years as an HR manager in large companies while maintaining my clinical practice, so not only personal issues, but organizational ones are part of my specialties and my personal interest .
